I have to admit, I am flabbergasted at the number of people who have taken an interest in CraftworldEldar.com. The blog topped 40,000 views earlier this week, and I am pretty sure when a Warhammer 40,000 blog reaches 40,000 hits you are supposed to celebrate by dropping a badly painted mini into acetone or something. (I considered posting a picture of my wraithguard pushing a gross 90s mini into a vat of nail polish remover, but it looked stupid.)
Anyway, I just want to say “thank you” to the 12,000 unique visitors who have made this project worthwhile. When I started this blog earlier this year, I hoped it would become a resource for players new to the hobby, but what I have learned from your emails is that the readership is a healthy mix of newbies and veteran Autarchs, some of whom were playing back in 2nd ed when I bought my very first blister pack of metal space elves.
Your interest and enthusiasm have been as encouraging as the broken-hearted howls of our vanquished foes. I especially appreciate those regular readers who have taken the time to send me emails. I am pretty sure I have answered every message, so if I didn’t write you back, it’s an oversight on my end, and you should follow up.
Best wishes in all your engagements,
